Roadmap

Hylo currently meets the needs of Project management, Consensus Gathering, and part of Communication. We need to integrate Identity/Reputation and resource databases.

Technical Layer

Communication: Needs to be dual layer (Hive / Internet)

Hive mode: (Optional dependency on Identity) Can switch to anonymous mode for local mesh P2P wifi/bluetooth
Matrix is an open protocol for decentralised, secure communications

Distributed computing: The means to decentralize the backend of the interface

Holo is backing the Hylo project and should be able to serve as a backend for most components.
Ethereum Has a rich history as a blockchain platform with many projects synergetic with our goals.

Project Management: (Hard dependent on resource database, Identity; soft dependent on consensus)

Users initiate a project based on geographic location or internet domain. User sets scope of audience based on who it impacts and who it benefits. Projects that require access to community resources or do not align with values will trigger consensus. This is also a place for open solicitation of assistance and action.

Identity and Reputation: Reputation is an integral part of human interactions. Echoes from the past show us the feeling of trust and the freedom that rides on its back. Our community is rightfully suspicious of the van parked across the street, and the provocateur at our rallies. The ability of the darkest souls in our society to anonymously slip into the shadows encourages sociopathic behavior. With Proof of Identity your identity is yours. Your interactions, build your identity and your reputation. In a world where our the surveillance state is rapidly approaching the singularity of complete control, we need eyes pointing in the other direction.
